Several people have been asking when our knit4dolls knitting patterns will be available because... Yes!... Christmas is rapidly approaching...
Our knitting patterns for clothes for Action Man and HM Armed Forces toys / action figures haven't changed and are 'ready-to-go'; however our Barbie knitting patterns are not quite ready. These won't take long to finish, but I have another problem... deciding where to putting them on the website... Ummm!
I loved Bratz when I started designing knitting patterns for dolls clothes; and then I loved Action Man and HM Armed Forces toys / action figures when I started knitting uniforms for them; but now, whilst designing knitting patterns for clothes for Barbie dolls, I love Barbie, and am so overwhelmed with ideas for knitting patterns for her that the current website layout, with similar designs for all the toys, is no longer appropriate...
Barbie has sooooo many different styles of clothing compared to the male action figures / toys. Her trousers for example come in 6 different lengths because her legs are so long, and with 2 designs of waistband, those on the waistline and those on the hips, because Barbie has a proper waist... and these are just for straight leg trousers... And of course they all need T-shirts to go with them!
And I have been sidetracked by designing dolls knitting patterns for sportswear for the Olympics... and an unplanned, 'surprise' sporting activity for Barbie... it surprised me too, but looks soooo cute!
But as Christmas is in the minds of all knitters at this time of year, I shall have to release things that are ready and put them on the website, somewhere... so please be patient if the website becomes chaotic at times! Oh... and I have also been looking into opening up a custom-made online store, but need one that can cope with PDF file downloads... Grrrh...
I should have more exact details about the availability of our Barbie, Action Man and HM Armed Forces knitting patterns for clothes in early September.
